At Mission Prep’s teen residential mental health centers in California and Virginia, we offer an array of specialized activities and services tailored to meet the unique needs of adolescents facing mental health challenges.
Our specialized groups encompass biweekly family programming sessions, weekly Rock to Recovery sessions, nutrition sessions, and yoga classes. Additionally, we offer weekly Gardening Group sessions. We are also equipped with a full-time art therapist who conducts both group and individual sessions.
We provide surf therapy sessions every two weeks, monthly skateboarding groups, and regular experiential outings throughout the week. Moreover, clients can opt for 1-2 client choice outings each week, which may range from movie nights, go-karting, beach excursions, to visits to the arcade.
We prioritize the physical well-being of our clients through a structured fitness regimen. Our program includes 1-2 sessions of personal training and boxing per week, a weekly yoga class, and supervised daily access to our on-site gym outside of scheduled programming hours.
We offer two individual therapy sessions, one family therapy session, and two clinical mentor sessions weekly. For individuals interested in art therapy, one individual session per week is available based on clinical suitability. Additionally, we provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
