Lorenzo Mejia

Lorenzo Mejia is the Program Manager at Mission Prep Healthcare – Rancho Palos Verdes. In his role, Lorenzo oversees all operations of the program and works closely with both clinical and residential teams to ensure a treatment experience that is structured, collaborative, and engaging. He believes in creating an environment where clients are treated with dignity, encouraged to develop their independence, and supported every step of the way. Lorenzo values bridging the gap between operations and clinical work, knowing that when both teams are aligned, clients receive the most effective care. He also prioritizes making the program inviting and enjoyable—because healing should include moments of fun and connection. Lorenzo began his career in mental health after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, starting in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) where he provided direct therapy to clients from toddlers to teens. Over time, he moved into operational leadership, gaining extensive experience in program management. His passion for mental health is deeply personal—shaped by his own experiences—and drives him to provide the kind of support he once needed himself. A Certified Group Home Administrator, Lorenzo is committed to delivering high-quality care while continuing his professional growth with plans to pursue a Master’s degree. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, snowboarding, and attending live music events.
