Residential programming allows young girls to step away from the stressors and triggers of their usual environment, placing them under the care of compassionate professionals who can support them through their mental health challenges.
At Mission Prep Teen Treatment, we believe in treating the whole person, and this includes building aftercare plans with step-down levels of care. We encourage teens to attend outpatient programming, such as an intensive outpatient program (IOP), upon completion of the RTC program to ease the transition back into their daily lives.

These girls also have access to a landline phone for 10-minute calls to approved family members and contacts.
All personal belongings must fit within your designated personal space. Teens here are allowed to bring a cell phone and charger, and personal instruments (such as a guitar), which can be stored and checked out. Smoking and vaping are not permitted for our adolescent clients, but nicotine patches and gum can be made available with provider approval to support cessation.
Because this is a 24/7 residential mental health program, clients are supervised by clinical staff at all times. Between behavioral health technicians, therapists, psychiatrists, and more, our facility ensures compassionate care at all times.
Mission Prep Teen Treatment provides transportation for intake and discharge. Guardians are encouraged to use Dulles International (IAD), the closest airport (about a 35- to 40-minute drive), or Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA), approximately an hour away from the facility.
