After you’ve completed an initial assessment with a member of our clinical team, the staff at Mission Prep Teen Treatment will begin to form a customized treatment plan for your stay at our Rolling Hills Estates residential program for adolescents. While these treatment plans vary depending upon your particular mental health needs, the girls at our inpatient facility typically follow a similar structure in their days and weeks.
Teens in this program for mental health usually meet with individual therapists twice a week and clinical mentors twice a week. They also work with psychiatrists on a weekly basis and attend academic groups for 3 hours each weekday, with the help and resources of a master’s-level educated staff member.
Beyond the traditional modalities of therapy, the teen girls at our facility on Sunnyfield Drive in Rolling Hills Estates, California, participate in art therapy, surf therapy, music programs like Rock to Recovery, and more.

7:00 AM: Wake up and have breakfast before the day of mental health programming begins
9:00 AM: Clinical groups covering a variety of topics like art therapy or Rock to Recovery begin
Noon: Break for lunch
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Structured academic instruction each weekday, ensuring clients stay on track with the curriculum of home school districts
5:00 PM: Physical fitness, including boxing sessions, personal training sessions, or access to in-home fitness equipment
6:00 PM: Dinner
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Experiential outings or client choice outings, hikes, equestrian trails, and more
10:30 PM: Lights out

Most everything you could need will be provided. All personal belongings must fit within a designated personal space. You’re allowed to bring a cell phone and charger, and personal instruments (such as a guitar), which can be stored and checked out. Smoking and vaping are not permitted at any of our Mission Prep Teen Treatment facilities.
With 24/7 clinical support and caring supervision, the teen girls at our treatment facility for mental health are always attended to by a qualified adult on staff. Our staff is made up of adolescent-specialized clinicians highly trained in teen development, peer dynamics, identity formation, and family systems.
At our residential program in Rolling Hills Estates, clients attend three hours of structured academic instruction each weekday. During this time, teens are supported by an on-site master’s-level educator in classrooms equipped with laptops, ensuring you do not fall behind your home school district.
At this program, we offer weekly visitation and family support services. On-site family visits occur every Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM; 30-minute remote visits can also be arranged during this time.
We also offer a biweekly tailored family program (first half guardians only, second half includes the client, with a remote option), and a Family Support Group every Wednesday.

Beyond the on-site amenities these teens enjoy, the girls at our Rolling Hills Estates residential facility frequently attend outings for movies, hikes, beach days, and more, to complement their clinically structured days.
Often visited by our adolescent girls at this residential facility, the Chandler Park equestrian trails host equine therapy, which supports emotional and mental well-being. Rolling Hills Estates is home to over 25 miles of equestrian trails.
At our residential facility in Rolling Hills Estates, clients are often given the opportunity to go on “Client Choice” outings, which may include trips to the movies, go-karting, the beach, or arcades in downtown Torrance.
