Miriam Tapia (she/hers) is a dedicated Clinical Mentor at Mission Prep. With over a year of experience at Mission Prep, Miriam has honed her skills in intervention crisis and communication, working closely with clients, families, and partners to provide superior care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Evolution and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Miriam's diverse professional and educational background showcases her adaptability and problem-solving abilities. She brings a collaborative and empathetic approach to her direct work with each client's individualized treatment plan.
Miriam's commitment to the mental health field, particularly in supporting adolescents, drives her ongoing pursuit of excellence. She is currently researching graduate programs to obtain a Master's in Social Work, aiming to further her impact in the field.
