At Mission Prep, we strive to provide a unique and innovative therapeutic approach that blends time-tested therapeutic approaches with innovative interventions. We believe that every element of the family’s care is critical, and we take a comprehensive approach to address every aspect of their needs. This includes sessions with our board-certified psychiatrist, individual and family therapy, academic planning and support, life skills courses, sustainable technology strategies and counseling, and transition support.
We understand that the journey to recovery is not just about providing immediate care, but it is about building a sustainable experience that can be built upon long after the adolescent discharges from Mission Prep. Our approach to treatment is designed to create long-term success, not just short-term solutions.
We believe that by clients a voice in their treatment is an important part of empowering them to take an active role in their own healing process. When individuals feel heard and respected by their treatment providers, they are more likely to feel a sense of ownership over their treatment plan and more committed to following through on their goals.
Mission Prep’s licensed professionals who work closely with clients can help them gain a deeper understanding of the underlying factors that contribute to their mental health and other issues. This can include exploring past traumas, identifying patterns of negative thought and behavior, and learning coping skills for managing stress and triggers. By working collaboratively, professionals can help them identify specific goals for their treatment and develop a plan that is tailored to their unique needs. At the core of our approach is the commitment to providing clients with sustainable tools for maintaining their recovery long after they leave the program. This means that in addition to providing support during treatment, we prioritize equipping clients with the skills and knowledge they need to continue to grow and thrive long after they have completed our program.
This can include teaching clients how to manage stress and maintain healthy relationships, as well as developing strategies for dealing with relapse triggers and other challenges that may arise in the future. By focusing on sustainable tools and long-term success, we strive to help clients build a foundation for lasting recovery and wellness. This can lead to not only improved mental health outcomes, but also a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment in life.
We foster a safe environment that provides opportunities for our clients to be challenged and to grow. Rather than removing all stressors, we allow for selective exposure in a controlled environment so they are able to practice positively responding to potential triggers.
At Mission Prep, we believe that the environment plays a significant role in the success of our clients. Our beautiful, homes bring a sense of belonging and connection for those in our care. We strive to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive space for our clients.
Our program is family focused. Families are incorporated into our treatment planning from the onset and they receive the same attention and care as our individual clients. They are provided with ample support and resources to utilize on a daily basis to help them heal from the emotional, mental and physical responses to the events that lead them to seek help for their loved one.
Mission Prep offers both residential inpatient treatment and outpatient treatment programs. Our residential program provides 24-hour care in a state-licensed home and is run by licensed healthcare professionals. Our homes are designed to provide a calm, peaceful environment that is conducive to healing. Our clinical team uses a variety of methods such as group and individual therapy, as well as a wide range of activities that help our clients develop important coping skills that they can use to help maintain their recovery.
Our outpatient programs are designed to meet the needs of clients who may not require the level of care provided by our residential program but still need more support than an individual therapist can offer. Our clinicians work with clients and their families to create a custom treatment plan that is personalized to their needs at this level of care.
Our team of masters and doctorate-level clinicians work with clients virtually to develop custom treatment plans that cater to each client’s specific needs.
