Evan Weidele

Evan Weidele is a compassionate and dedicated Residential Supervisor at Mission Prep in Bonsall. His deep commitment to help others persevere and thrive is supported by over four years of significant experience working with dual-diagnosis teens in San Diego as a floor counselor. Evan earned his B.A. in Psychological Sciences from CSUSM, where he also served as president of the Psychology Student Organization and the Psi Chi International Honor Society. During his time at university, Evan contributed to research on children, adults with siblings on the autism spectrum, and the use of social media in communicating mental health struggles. Evan is aligned with Mission Prep’s mission to provide a safe, supportive space for teens and their families to heal from mental health and substance use challenges. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing with his new cat, gaming, hiking, traveling, hitting the gym, watching movies and TV, and playing guitar. Evan believes that a life rooted in empathy and a deep understanding of others can foster healing and guide teens and their families toward a path of growth and resilience.
