Katie holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She has a background in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapies to help clients gain insight into their behaviors and empower them to navigate life’s challenges. She has invaluable experience working with adults and adolescents struggling with substance abuse, dual-diagnoses, trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-harm, life transitions, relationship issues, schizophrenia-related disorders, personality disorders, and mood disorders. Katie utilizes an integrated, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach by incorporating DBT, CBT, and EFT techniques to empower clients with tools for managing their thoughts, behaviors, and unconscious patterns.
