Lindsey Rivas is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Teen Therapist at Mission Prep, a residential mental health program for adolescents. She is passionate about walking alongside teens as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and begin their healing journeys.
Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and completed her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in trauma in 2025. Over the past four years, she has worked in various roles across the mental health and education fields—including as a case manager at a psychiatric hospital, a long-term substitute teacher in a special education classroom, and an intern therapist during graduate school. Each of these experiences has shaped her understanding of the complex ways young people experience and express emotional pain—and reinforced her belief in the importance of connection, compassion, and consistency in the healing process.
Originally born in Los Angeles, Lindsey has moved in and out of California over the years and often says she is “half from Georgia, too.” This blend of places and people has shaped her identity and informs how she shows up as a therapist. She strives to bring authenticity, empathy, and a sense of calm to her work with teens and families.
Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, and spending quality time with friends. She believes deeply in the power of relationships and feels honored to be in a field that allows her to support others in building healthier, more fulfilling ones.
