Ti’Ahzia Pritchett

Therapist, CA
ACSW, PPSC
Ti’Ahzia Naja Pritchett, MSW, PPSC, is a dedicated therapist currently serving youth and families at Mission Prep in Southern California. With over eight years of experience in the field of social work, Ti’Ahzia has a passion for helping others that began in childhood and was solidified during her first internship at Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, California. Since then, she has remained committed to her calling, earning a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC). Throughout her career, Ti’Ahzia has worked with a wide range of populations, but her heart lies with at-risk youth. Her first job at a preschool connected to a church in South Central Los Angeles revealed her deep connection to working with children. She finds joy in supporting young people, learning about their experiences, and advocating for their needs. Ti’Ahzia’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Humanistic Therapy, also known as Client-Centered or Person-Centered Therapy. This method is built on the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. She employs techniques such as active and reflective listening, as well as emotional exploration, to create a safe and empathetic space for clients to thrive. Her work is especially impactful for individuals facing self-esteem challenges, personal development concerns, or relationship struggles. Currently, Ti’Ahzia is pursuing her licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and plans to begin her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the fall. She is also undergoing advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to deepen her trauma-informed practice. Outside of her professional life, Ti’Ahzia enjoys reading and engaging in self-care activities that support her own well-being. She remains committed to her mission of changing lives, one day and one person at a time.
