Kevin Perez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. He is Latinx Clinician with a depth of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in communities across Orange County and Los Angeles County in California. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a focus on Developmental Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counseling with specialized training working with Latinx populations from California State University, Fullerton. He has experience collaborating with school systems and working with clients on variety of issues which include depression, family conflict, anxiety, issues of identity, anger and aggression, suicidality, homelessness, grief and loss, and child abuse and trauma.
In addition, he has a depth of experience working with clients on the autism spectrum as a Behavioral Therapist. His modality of treatment is rooted in a Humanistic and Person-centered approach and incorporates evidence-based approaches which include his training in Individual-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
